Got offered some smack on the walk back from the ground today in East Ham.
I said no.
As a man who indulges regularly with illegal narcotics why did I say no?
It's meant to be great and was cheap compared to what is usually on offer.
Any smack heads on here?

Never been offered to me and I would never take it. I was a big party animal and could never see the point in it. Tried just about everything else and had a massive coke problem 10 years ago. Was doing min 10g a week. Not only on my own mind you but wed thru to sat. Luckily its not a physical adiction but a mental one.
I do slip off the rails now and again.

Heroin its self causes no harm what so ever , probelm is that a large percentage of users put it before food , and general everyday maintenance , however the drug its self causes no harm .
OD's are generally caused when people stop, and have a hit that they would of done when they were using everyday , and go over , so its always recommended that you should either chase or snort rather than Iv'ing .
That said , there will come a time when they want to get clean, and cold turkey is no joke , imgaine the worst flu , with your limbs jerking all over the shop , pissing and shitting for four days straight with no sleep .
Dont sound like too much fun to me

Always intrigued me. I know eventually it becomes just about addiction and there is no enjoyment it's just to stop the withdrawal pain.
But to GET to that stage - surely it must a fucking unbelievable initial high...

I think that strong opiates should be much more available to those people who are at the end of their lives. Most people still die in pain waiting for the GP to turn up and there is no excuse for that.

Opiates are too addictive only done them good oxy contins when they still were being produced. Would never shoot anything up but I guess i could see sniffing a bit of it if some was about and I wasn't around where I lived and knew I couldn't get anymore afterwards.
Took a 3 day break when Iwent away for work from smoking weed and that felt like being high and on drugs honestly.

The view of how many are sensible and how many fuck themselves up is distorted because people who use carefully and don't fuck their lives up, generally don't mention it to anyone who does research, and don't become a cause for concern for their friends. It's just like people's view on football fansin the 80s.....nobody on the outside of the game noticed the fans who didn't go smashing up fans, stadiums and trains, so all football fans were hooligans.
Most people can enjoy a glass or two of claret with their steak and mushrooms without becoming raging alcoholics.
****Heroin, I think, is on a different level, though it's impossible to be sure due to what I just wrote. Is there a secret percentage who jack up at weekends or once a month and carry on normally in between with no problem? How would we know? They would almost certainly keep quiet anbout it.****

Just did so much I never got the same high, and was chasing the feeling, that don't get me wrong I did get after one pill , but I was always wanting one more, to get more. I very rarely got crap pills.
I'd go out on a Friday and come home Sunday night. Night rave onto day rave then be on it Monday night then stay up go to work Tuesday. Seriously funny times but like I say not now as I think I'm feeling a bit hollow compared to how I should feel at my age,

I seem to notice a trend of people who haven't touched drugs slating them... I was one of these until I tried pills, really opened my eyes.
Although I keep usage strictly to Festivals and Raves i can see how people become addicted etc althought personally think it's easy to stop taking.
Made a vow to never ever touch Heroin though, the states i've seen and those i've read about is unbelievable.

Street drugs (and alcohol) ruin peoples lives and kills many. Some people use drugs moderately, the same as alcohol users. A hell of a lot of people don't. I have worked with drug users in prison. You can never believe a word they say. Most are completely fucked up.
